We currently have an opportunity for a Deputy Manager - RMN to join  Acquired Brain Injury and Mental Health Services at specialist care centre based in Worcestershire. This is a Full Time position working 40 hours per week.

The care centre provides care and support for adults with an acquired brain injury resulting from accident or disease.  They also provide support for neurodisability conditions such as Huntington’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. The service also cares and supports for people who have experienced an infection, bleed or clot in the brain, which has resulted in a stroke.

The successful candidate will be offered an excellent salary of £40,000 per annum plus other great benefits.

The care centre is a 45 bedded Specialist Care Centre and comprises of 3 distinct newly refurbished units.

 Responsibilities:

Provide care for the residents on a daily basis undertaking direct nursing and general care, as required, including periods on night duty if necessary

Contribute positively to the setting and development of measurable standards of care relevant to the speciality

Responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of care programmes

Contribute to the professional development of trained staff, encouraging the development of research based practice, with a view to meeting PREPP requirement

 JOB REQUIREMENTS

·         RMN qualified with experience within an adults mental health environment

·         Passion for nursing and delivering high quality care

·         Valid NMC pin number

·         Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

To be considered for this you must be Registered Mental Nurse and have experience in senior role.
