Company Description

Torch Group is looking for a Telemarketing Executive for their Foodsmiths and Blackfin divisions based in Ampthill. Foodsmiths is a marketing agency specializing in the food and drink sector, while Blackfin provides sales incentives programmes to manufacturers and distributors.  Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the telemarketing executive will be responsible for contacting business contacts in order to set appointments for senior members of the management team.

Role Description

The role will be to work with a database of prospects in various industry sectors. It will include building and maintaining your own pipeline and generating qualified leads and appointments for 2 separate parts of the business. 

Responsibilities

• Make telephone calls to prospects
  
• Record details in the CRM of opportunities and lead notes
  
• Achieve specified targets
  
• Understand and manage personal performance on a daily basis
  

Candidate Requirements

• B2C or B2B outbound calling experience
  
• Excellent communication skills and good telephone manner
  
• Proven track record in a telemarketing environment
  
• Computer literate and experience in Zoho (or another CRM) would be an advantage but not essential.
  
• Confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic
  
• Friendly personality and team player
