Occupational Therapist Lead

**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an Occupational Therapist with HCPC Registration**As the Occupational Therapist Lead your key responsibilities include:
· Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team and encourage the service users to be fully engaged in their care pathway
· To support clinical team working, including both direct interventions and the delivery of staff training programmes
· Attend any meetings called by the Therapy Lead, and will develop therapies (and make any changes to the therapy provision)
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Experience in assessing people with a variety of psychometrics and risk assessment tools
· To be able to work therapeutically, engaging people in developing insight and coping skills to manage their complex needs
· Experience in supervising and managing junior members of the team
· To operate within professional boundaries and in line with the RCOT/HCPC Code of Conduct at all times
· Full and clean UK driving licence
· Experience of working within the specialised area i.e. Mental Health services
The successful Occupational Therapist Lead will receive an excellent salary up to £40,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
