Occupational Therapist
An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Occupational Therapist to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Newbury, Berkshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This hospital offers inpatient care for those who require mental health rehabilitation to support them in increasing their recovery pathway and independence
As the Occupational Therapist your key responsibilities include:
· Providing assessment and treatment of a designated case load within the frame work of an established rehabilitation programme
· Applying patient-centred principles to assessment, intervention and evaluation
· Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the Occupational Therapy process in line with sound evidence based practice
· Participation in MDT, CPA, case conferences, referral meetings and nursing handover
· Ongoing development of skills and knowledge, through participation in CPD and Professional Development Planning
· Line-management and supervision of a part-time Technical Instructor
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Proven experience in mental health and knowledge of the Mental Health Act
· Patient centric & commitment to delivering high quality care
· Fine tuned decision making skills
· Excellent organisational capability
· Effective communication skills
The successful Occupational Therapist will receive an excellent salary up to £30,000 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

To be considered for this position you must have a degree/diploma Occupational Therapy and be HCPC registered
