An excellent new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Care Service Manager to work in an exceptional residential care service based in the Birmingham, West Midlands area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

This is a residential care service for residents with learning disabilities and complex needs. The aim of the service is to create a homely atmosphere offering the highest possible standards of care and support

**To be considered for this position you must hold a QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care**

As a Care Service Manager your key responsibilities include:

• To utilise authentic leadership, role modelling and inspirational skills to motivate the team to deliver excellent quality of care

• Become the person in charge responsible for the day-to-day running of the Service with 24 hour responsibility for the care of the Service Users.

• Manage the effective use of resources, including the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancy.

• Provide improvement, independence and choice for Service Users.

• Comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times and in particular the CQC for the Registration

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Experience in mental health and forensic

• Caring and compassionate

• Experience of managing a service of a similar size and client group

• Respectful of the values, views and needs of others 

• Able to work under pressure and prioritize workload

The successful Care Service Manager will receive an excellent salary of £33,500 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours a week working through days. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
