RGN or RMN Nurse with IC experience

We are currently recruiting a Registered Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse with Intensive Care experience to join care home based in Leeds. As a General Nurse you will be self-motivated and committed to enhance the specialist services to deliver positive a flexible attitude and person centred ethos.

It is a 60 bed purpose built care home with a great friendly atmosphere. The company have a staff room with facilities to enable they team to prepare their own meals and a dedicated training room for nurses and care assistants to improve their professional skills.

The successful candidate will be offered various shifts and competitive salary of £18.00 per hour plus other great benefits.

Key Responsibilities 

o   Participate knowledgably and professionally to all inspection visits, ensuring your team is ready at all times to do the same.

o    Promote a cohesive team approach and a welcoming atmosphere to ensure staff members feel a connection to our residents and the home, and they are well supported to deliver high quality care.

o    Understand the key targets of your host home and support the Home Manager in their achievement by promoting and practicing high standards of nursing care and ensuring staff and shifts are supervised in a smooth manner. 

o   Act as a reflective and developmental practitioner participating to continual professional development and meeting the requirements of professional revalidation

Key Skills

o   Have previous experience within a Intensive Care setting

o   The ability to lead a team, analyse problems and propose solutions or improvements

o   Understands and effectively uses IT and communication systems required for the role 

o   Able to work under pressure and prioritize workload 

o   Experience of delivering nursing care within elderly health care sector 

o   Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes

To be considered for this role you must be qualified as Nurse with an NMC registration and experience within an IC setting.
