Deputy Nurse Manager

One of the leading Healthcare Providers is currently seeking a Registered General Nurse, Deputy Manager to join a highly reputable Care Home that is located in Bristol.

The small bedded home specialises in providing elderly care accommodation for people living with dementia or mental health conditions.

As a Deputy Manager you will report to the Registered Manager of the service, playing a crucial part of the onsite clinical and management team. You will be supporting the manager in leading and supervising the staff team to deliver the highest level of care. This role is vital in maintaining and further developing the care principles that the company thrives upon. You will be clinically responsible for certain operational areas and take a significant role in the management of the staff team. You will be dealing with many daily issues concerning sickness management, staff training and development and coaching and mentoring.

For this role, it is essential for you to be a qualified Registered General Nurse with the ability to demonstrate experience supporting elderly service users, preferably those with dementia. You must have an effective way of communicating with the team and with external bodies.

To be considered for this role you must be a qualified Registered General Nurse with a current NMC registration and experience with a senior position.
