The Hospital is a private is around 40-bed acute psychiatric hospital for adults, located on the edge of London in, Kent area . The hospital provides care and treatment for patients with a wide range of Mental Health issues both as inpatients and day patients. The hospital specialises in providing care for patients with Acute mental health conditions, addiction issues - both drug and alcohol and also has specialist Eating Disorders and Aspergers units. The hospital is situated close to excellent transport links to central London, Croydon and Bromley areas and parking is available locally.

The Charge Nurse will be based on our progression and transition ward to take an active role in management of the ward, under the supervision of the Ward Manager, and to take charge in their absence. The role holder will be expected to participate fully with the clinical team and undertake direct patient care.

Applicants must be self-motivated with good communication skills and leadership experience.

Applicants should have the following experience/qualifications:

·         RMN/RNLD

·         Mentorship Qualification (preferred)

·         The ability to lead and motivate others

·         A genuine interest in quality service delivery and development

·         The ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines

·         Numeracy and evidence of analytical ability

·         Experience in completing audit
