An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our clients UK Manufacturing Engineering team located in Broughton Chester
ME Lineside Engineer
The role will consist of working line side within a production environment supporting and anticipating issues that will stop the production team from meeting their work package and daily targets.
This will involve a self-motivated and quick-thinking individual who can think on their feet and be proactive in getting the production team back up and running in as soon as.
You will be part of a team on shifts passing working towards and end goal of keeping production going and meeting the A/C design intent and quality.
Responsibilities:
• Forward thinking at improving and anticipating issues and resolving these before they may happen.
• Project work is also involved in resolving long standing issues or potential future improvements.
• PPM of production tooling to keep these to the required build standard.
• Large emphasis on quality improvement so always looking to improve.
Essential Skills:
• SAP experience
• Concession planning
• SOI rewrites
• Aerospace experience
• Problem solving techniques.
Desirable Skills:
• Catia V5
• Composite knowledge
Other information
Working Pattern
Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)

Possible extension after initial contract duration
Interview Process

Clearance
The successful candidate will be required to apply for and receive a basic disclosure certificate prior to commencement of the contract.
Applications are via - https://www.gov.uk/request-copy-criminal-record - at a fee of £23 which will need to be paid by card in full at the end of the application process. The cost of the application is only recoverable from the client once the contractor has started and that recovery of costs is via the expense process.
The successful candidate will be required to pass BPSS security clearance before confirmation of contract offer.
The successful candidate will also be required to have a current SC clearance that is confirmed before start date and successfully transferred on commencement of the contract.

A CEST assessment has been carried out for this role and it has been deemed Inside Scope of IR35
