The post holder will be part of the Night Services Team who are responsible for the overall management of the hospital site throughout the night. You will be expected to co-ordinate staffing and respond to Clinical incidents. You will need to attend the wards to provide planned and unplanned support / supervision to staff on duty. You will also provide some line management to and appraisal for staff predominantly working nights. You will ensure quality delivery of care and safety of people is maintained throughout the night shift.

You will work as part of the hospital management team and participate in ensuring the delivery of a sensitive, efficient care service to all patients within the care of Hospitals. You should have a particular interest in out-of-hours working but be prepared to work days periodically to ensure your contribution to management planning and meet training requirements.
