An amazing job has just opened up for a committed RGN, RMN or RNLD to join an Exceptional Nursing Home within the Cambridge area. As a Nurse you will be working for a company which is rated highly and has an excellent reputation in the area.
The special Care team offer all care types, including residential care for people who need help with daily tasks and nursing care for those who have complex medical needs. We also provide both residential dementia care and nursing dementia care for residents who require it.
As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
· Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life.
· Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our resident’s physical, social and psychological needs.
· Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
· Ensure all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge.
· Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively.
· Support, guide, teach and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times.
· Act as a reflective and developmental practitioner participating to continual professional development and meeting the requirements of professional revalidation
An ideal Nurse will be very confident and hardworking and will have the following skills which are beneficial for this role:
· Good Nursing Experience
· Excellent Clinical Skills
· Able to write Care Plans
· Able to show Empathy and warmth
· Able to carry out general nursing tasks such as Peg feeding, wound care, phlebotomy etc.
· Able to show a can-do attitude always
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £16.00 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £36,608. This exciting position is for 44 hours per week however we currently have vacancies for both days and night shifts available.
