We are looking for a Registered Nurse - Oncology to join a dedicated and professional Oncology department at the private hospital. This is permanent full time position (37.5 hours per week).
Duties of this role include:
Delivery of treatment and care to Oncology patients
Participate in regular unit meetings.
Stand in for oncology nurse specialists in their absence. (Refer to core responsibilities Oncology Nurse Specialist below)
Ensure revenue is recouped where possible.
Keep up to date and abreast of new treatments etc.
Assist consultant oncologist/haematologist during their clinics and management of patients during treatment.
The successful applicant will possess:
RN - Level 1 or 2
ENB 998 or equivalent.
N59 – Chemotherapy - desirable
Evidence of professional development
Current nursing issues
Motivation skills
Post registration experience in acute care setting.
Clinical experience relevant to the Hospital.
Previous experience within private sector desirable.
Managing resources.
