Forensic Pssychiatrist
An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Forensic Psychiatrist to join an exceptional hospital based in Cardiff. As a Forensic Psychiatrist you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This special facility is a low secure mental illness and personality disorder service for males and females who require a medium-term placement and recovery-orientated specialist treatment in order to progress on their care pathway towards rehabilitation care.
As a Forensic Psychiatrist your day to day duties include:
· Participation in pre-admission assessments of patients and to report back to the agreed forum.
· Taking a lead role in medical and clinical audit activities.
· Participation in on-call cover for the hospital, on a rota to be agreed with the Hospital Director and Hospital Medical Director.
· Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence, as agreed with the Hospital Director and Hospital Medical Director.
· Participation in Continuing Professional Development activities and an in-house educational / training programme.
· Perform other appropriate duties as agreed from time to time with the Hospital Director and Hospital medical Director.
· Involvement in the hospital Clinical Governance programme.
The successful Forensic Psychiatrist will receive a very well rewarding annual salary of £134,826.52. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
