**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RGN with an active NMC Pin or a Registered ODP with a HCPC Registration**
As the Orthopaedic Scrub Theatre Practitioner your key duties include:
• To deliver safe quality care for patients during their perioperative phase of care
• To support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department
• Assist in the delivery of patient care
• Contribute to quality improvement
• Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self
• Apply and promote best evidence based practice within own scope of practice
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Orthopaedic scrub experience
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
• Flexible and positive attitude
• A warm, considerate and empathetic character
• Previous experience working within a theatre team
The successful Orthopaedic Scrub Theatre Practitioner will receive an excellent salary of £34,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
