We are excited to present an exciting new job opening for a reliable RMN to work in PICU Unit. As a nurse, you will be working within the Cheshire area.
The hospital offers a comprehensive inpatient specialist mental health service for adults. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of inter-linked care services within one hospital campus and provides a complete care pathway so patients can move seamlessly between services to provide the most appropriate care in a safe environment. You will be working in a small PICU unit and you will be working with service users to encourage them to reduce these incidents and take full responsibility for their actions and to stabilise the patients as soon as possible in order that they can return to acute services.
As a nurse, your day to day duties will include:
· Working within a team
· Assisting and supporting staff in the management of the Female DBT ward.
· Making an effective contribution to providing high quality care to all patients.
· Being responsible for undertaking and managing patient care.
· The delivery of care (both individual and group sessions)
· Participating in patient assessments, planning and evaluation
An ideal nurse must have these skills/qualifications as they are beneficial to this role:
· RMN Qualified with at least 12 month’s experience.
· Ideally have experience of working in a secure setting
· NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council Registered)
· Experience through professional training in a related environment.
· Knowledge of the Mental Health Act
· Patient centric & commitment to delivering high quality care
· Fine tuned decision making skills
· Excellent organisational capability
· Effective communication skills
· Flexibility and a strong “can do” attitude
The Registered Nurse’s position is full time and the successful nurse will receive an excellent annual salary of between £27,374 - £29,191 PA plus generous benefits in return of all their hard work and commitment. Benefits include:
