Staff Grade Ward Doctor
An outstanding job opportunity has arisen for a committed Staff Grade Ward Doctor to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Hale, Manchester area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
The hospital has an established reputation for providing the highest standards of care together with an extensive range of clinical services. The hospital has residential facilities for patients as well as busy day care and outpatient services
**To be considered for this position you will possess an MBBS qualification or equivalent and required to maintain full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)**
As the Staff Grade Ward Doctor your key responsibilities include:
· Provide quality patient focussed care, comprehensive risk assessment and working to the highest standards
· Work alongside the hospital's senior management team, be involved in the Clinical Governance and audit processes across the hospital and will help to deliver training and provide support for the other Ward Doctors on site
· Work closely with the unit’s multidisciplinary team to ensure that clients receive a holistic and person-centric treatment programme based on the recovery model
· Working with our adult patients but we would require some flexibility to provide cover and support for our other inpatient services which includes an ED Adolescent service
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Experience as a specialty doctor in inpatient Psychiatry or equivalent role in NHS or Private sector
· Experience of Psychiatry at Core training level CT1 -3 or equivalent
· Knowledge and experience of current issues in psychiatry and remaining up to date with current practices
· Personal organisational and time management skills
· Good team working skills
· Letter and report writing skills
The successful Doctor will receive an amazing salary up to £76,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
