£23,968 to £29,470 (pro rata) dependent on experience (night enhancements payable at 20% of basic salary)

Hours

44 hours & 33 hours alternate weeks, rotation to nights & weekends

We currently have two vacancies for Staff Nurses within   acute adult and adolescent inpatient psychiatric services to cover maternity leave.  The posts are fixed term (6 months and 9 months) and are rotational to nights to weekends. 

The above role will be primarily focused around the effective delivery of clinical care and working towards improving standards within the clinical areas of the service.

 The post holder will be expected to have excellent interpersonal skills when liaising with members of the multi-disciplinary team, external agencies and organisations, patients and relatives.  The post holder should also have a good working knowledge of the mental health act.  Candidates will be expected to demonstrate genuine commitment and enthusiasm for working with these client groups. Experience in a related environment is essential.
