Deputy Manager for Care Home

A fantastic position has arisen for a Registered Nurse, Deputy Manager to join a pristine Care Home that is located in Cramlington, Northumberland.

The home provides nursing and social care for people that are in need of general nursing care, residential assistance, respite and sensitive end-of-life care as well as younger residents with physical disabilities.

If you are successful for this role you will receive a competitive salary of £15.50 per hour with great additional benefits.

Your main duties will be:

• Ensuring the needs and wishes of the residents are met and the service is developed to enhance their quality of life

• Deputise in the overall management of the care home where required

• Playing an active role to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements within the home

• Promoting high standards of nursing care, ensuring legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines

• Supporting the financial effectiveness of the home

• Become a visible leader in the home

• Overseeing the induction of new employees and participate in the training development of the team

• Supporting the manager in disciplinary proceedings where required

This role requires someone who is a qualified Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration and people management experience. You will need to have the ability to lead and manage a team and be able to analyse problems and propose solutions. You must also have a good understanding of IT and communication systems required within the role.

To be considered for this role you must be a qualified RGN or RMN Nurse with experience within a managerial position.
