We have amazing opportunities for experienced Theatre Practitioners interested in permanent full time and part time positions in a growing and prestigious Surgical Centre in Crowborough, East Sussex.
Applicants must be a qualified Registered Nurse or ODP. Experience in the perioperative environment is essential with specific skills and knowledge in Elective Orthopaedic Recovery and Anaesthetics. Candidates must work effectively as a member of a team, be self motivated and willing to adapt to a flexible work pattern.
In this role your responsibilities will be:
To deliver high quality nursing care by assessment of patient need, implementation of care and evaluation of progress/outcome
To work co-operatively with medical staff and other member of the multidisciplinary team in order to ensure positive outcomes for each patient episode
To be actively involved in nursing research projects in support of clinical practice
To maintain and develop a harmonious and co-operative relationship within the unit/ department
To undertake the role of mentor/buddy where requested and to facilitate the orientation and development of new staff
The successful applicant must have:
Current NMC registration as Registered General Nurse or ODA CGLI 752 or ODP NVQ level 3
Experience (min. 6 months post registration)
Excellent clinical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Sound planning and organisation skills
Able to work independently and manage a workload
The ability to build great rapport with those around you
Able to commence as soon as possible.
