Physiotherapist
An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Physiotherapist to work in an amazing neurological care centre based in the Daventry , Northampton area. As a Physiotherapist you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This special service provides specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.
As a Physiotherapist your day to day duties include:
· Being an effective communicator in a professional, concise and accurate manner to ensure that information is circulated throughout the whole team
· Promoting good working relationships at all times
· Attending goal planning and MDT meetings
· Producing high-quality, accurate and concise written reports and documentation
· Using reflective practice and established outcome measures to evaluate treatment in order to achieve optimal outcomes
· Providing support, guidance and training to therapy and care assistants
· Being responsible for own time management in planning caseload to meet priorities
An ideal Physiotherapist must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
· Registered member of the Health & Care Professions Council
· Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based best practice in the physiotherapy field
· Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks and regulatory body inspection processes and documentation
· Demonstrate an ability to ensure confidentiality
· Evidence of Continual Professional Development
· Experience of working with individuals in prolonged disorder of consciousness including respiratory input is desirable but not essential
