Senior Staff Nurse
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Staff Nurse to work in an exceptional hospital setting based in the Dewsbury, West Yorkshire area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers
This hospital provides a specialist inpatient service for adults and older age males with severe and enduring mental health conditions, who may also have an undiagnosed memory related illness
**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN or RNLD Nurse with an active NMC Pin**
As the Senior Staff Nurse your key responsibilities include:
· You will be working within a transdisciplinary team that includes a range of professional
· Contributing to pre-admission assessment of referred patient
· Contributing to the comprehensive assessment of a patient on admission
· Looking collaboratively with the individuals to develop their care plan
· Compiling a positive risk management plan
· Monitoring and reviewing individualised patient plans, within evidence based framework
· Prioritising, organising, and deploying under direction, resources to meet the requirements of the ward for the duration of a shift
· Committing to the promotion of basic living skills within a Rehabilitation Setting
· Contributing to the delivery of evidence based therapeutic interventions as agreed by the transdisciplinary team
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Experience of working within an environment with patients presenting as challenging in management
· Experience of working in a similar environment and role
· A focus on patient centred care
· Demonstrable experience of being a team player
· Ability to be self-motivated and flexible
· For higher level nursing position strong Leadership and management of people skills
· Ability to problem solve and have a solution focussed approach
The successful Senior Staff Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £34,700 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 40 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
