Outstanding job opening for Occupational Therapist to work with one of the UK’s leading healthcare provider, As a OT you will be working in highly reputable service based in Dorking( Surrey).

This is an inpatient rehabilitation service which is well placed to serve the south east of England and provides for the needs of women who have complex mental health problems and a history of challenging behaviour.

 As an Occupational Therapist at this prestigious service you will be working on a ward as part of a multi disciplinary team, with an allocated caseload of patients. To provide Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment to enable clients to achieve their maximum level of functional independence and to enhance their sense of well being through engagement in occupation.

The successful candidate will be offered an excellent salary of £25,000 to £30, 000 (pro rata) depending on experience and additional expertise.

 Our Occupational Therapist role involves:

·         Manages and co-ordinates the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services ensuring treatments, activities and interventions are delivered through effective application and communication. 

·         Receives and responds promptly to referrals undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritise patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions either on an individual or group basis. Maintains accurate and timely records detailing each patient’s rehabilitation / progress.

·         . Ensures the effective and efficient management of more junior staff. 

To be successful as an Occupational Therapist, you’ll need:

-          Hold a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy together with full BAOT membership and HPC registration.

-          The role holder will require experience including experience of working within the specialised area
