Our Employer:

Our employer is looking for a creative individual to join as a Digital marketing apprentice.

Duties to include:

• Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases
• Web site design including use of Dreamweaver
• Create graphics and art around websites
• Website testing
• Develop and maintain SEO for business
• Assist in the development of company websites using a variety of packages
• Analyse companies Pay per Click Marketing and Google Analytics to maximize return
• Project Work

Requirements:

Successful applicants must:

• Have grade C/4 or above in English and maths GCSE (or equivalent), or Functional Skills Level 2 AND a minimum of 5 GCSEs

Desired Skills:

• Must have some IT knowledge (web site design including use of Dreamweaver)
• Graphics or Art focussed
• High level of commitment and prepared to work hard and longer hours if required to achieve objectives
• Strong organizational skills
• Presentation skills and attention to detail

Career Progression after Level 3 – This can lead on to:

• Possible permanent position with this employer upon completion of the apprenticeship

Training to be provided:

• Level 3 Digital Marketer Advanced Apprenticeship: 13 months training in small blocks either in our central Birmingham Academy or remotely via distance learning, as well as on the job training in the workplace.

• Principles of Coding
• Marketing Principles
• Google Analytics
