Class 2 LGV/HGV Driver (319jc) – Edinburgh - £34k + Benefits

Due to an ever-expanding work load my client have exciting opportunities for Class 2 LGV/HGV drivers to join their well-respected team. You will assist with the distribution of their linen from their distribution facility. Shift pattern is 4 on 2 off days and nights.

My client is one of the UK’s largest laundry and linen hire companies, which specialises in supplying bed and bath linen to 5-star to budget hotels.

Your role will be to: -
• Delivery and collection of clean and soiled linen
• Assisting with loading/unloading vehicle
• Regular communication with the Transport Manager
• Unloading of the company vehicle on your return to the depot at the end of your days' delivery round
• Collection of soiled linen lists and handing them into the service office, as required.
• Recording of any delivery times/windows and securing signatures on delivery notes
• Day-to-day liaison with customers and the office

To do this role you will need the following essential criteria: -
• Digital tacho card, a Class 2 driving licence and be fully CPC qualified.
• The position covers a variety of shift patterns so you must be prepared to be flexible in your approach to working hours including weekends. Start times will vary and will include weekend working.
