Health Visitor
A remarkable new job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Health Visitor to join a team who are focused on clinical excellence! **You must have a current active NMC Pin and a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing qualification**
As a Health Visitor your key responsibilities include:
· Responsible for working with the multi-professional team to facilitate multi-agency and interdisciplinary working. To promote and maintain an effective service to clients, using the assessment framework, communication, negotiation and collaboration
· Responsible for undertaking health promotion activities with children, young people and their families
· To prescribe as appropriate from the Nurse Prescribers formulary
· Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates packages of care.
· Prioritises own work in line with areas of highest risk, delegates work to the wider skill mix team appropriately, providing them with supervision and support
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, and Excel
· A passion and drive to help ensure that children have the best possible start in life
· You will have a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car for work use
· Experience in leading and working in health visiting teams
