An outstanding job opportunity has arisen for a committed Speech & Language Therapist to join a special service based in Frome, Somerset area. As a Therapist you will be working for one of UK's Leading health care providers.

This special service was established in 2000 as an independent specialist residential college for students with Asperger Syndrome and associated conditions. A range of diagnoses may have been applied to our students, including autistic spectrum condition (ASC), pervasive development disorder or autistic or Asperger Syndrome traits.

As the Speech & Language Therapist your day to day duties include:

·         You will work in close partnership with a diverse team of educational and care specialists, including the Occupational Therapist, Counsellors and Educational Psychologists

·         To deliver tailored support that meets the needs of each young person

·         Facilitating effective communication and devising and implementing specific therapy programmes for groups and individuals using evidence-based and student-centred principles

·         You will join a supportive and experienced team of dedicated education and support staff

The successful Speech & Language Therapist will receive an excellent salary of up to £30,247 per annum. This exciting position is for 37.5 hours a week Term Time only. In return for your hard work and dedication you will receive the following generous benefits:
