An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated RMN to work in an exceptional hospital based in Scotland. As a Nurse you will be working with one of UK's Leading health care providers.
This special hospital is low secure psychiatric hospital registered with healthcare improvement Scotland. It provides Care and Treatment for twenty-one patients aged between 18 to 65 with a primary diagnosis of mental disorder in two gender specific wards.
As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
· Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing patients' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life.
· Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our patients physical and social needs.
· Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
· Ensure all elements of patients experience are positive, from admission to discharge.
· Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively.
· Ensure you follow a rigorous monitoring and recording practice; documenting efficiently, and thoroughly all matters relating to patients and employees
An ideal Nurse should be a hardworking, confident individual and must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
· Valid NMC Pin is essential and a good working knowledge of CQC standards;
· An effective communicator with the ability to engage with our service users to understand their needs to provide excellent services of care;
· The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals and families to be customer focused and to continually develop the services we provide;
· Promote ownership of care programmes by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programmes;
· Fulfil professional and legal responsibilities with respect to the safe storage handling and administration of medicines;
· It is essential to be Health and Safety aware, to ensure the safety of our services users and colleagues.
The successful Nurse will be offered an excellent salary of £15.88 per hour and the annual salary for this position is for £29,727.36. This exciting position is for 36 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
