Registered Mental Health Nurse (Addictions)
An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse (Addictions) to work in an exceptional hospital service based in the Glasgow area. As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This special hospital is one of the UK’s leading centres for the treatment of a range of conditions including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and eating disorders
As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
· Work as an effective member of the Multi-Disciplinary team
· Promote the best interests of the clients and carers and ensure that prescribed nursing care is effectively implemented
· Responsible for maintaining a safe care environment
· Exercise professional accountability and responsibility using professional skills
· Knowledge and expertise in changing environments
· Work within the scope of professional practice
· Undertake the role of “Preceptor” to newly qualified staff
· Evaluate and respond to changes in patient condition and needs
· Monitor and review Nursing Care plans
An ideal Nurse must have these skills and experiences as they are beneficial for this position:
· Team player
· Patient-centred
· Possess excellent communication skills
· Flexibility is required to work across all wards
· A good knowledge of the Mental Health Act, risk assessments and the care plan approach is required
· Experience of working within Acute General Psychiatry/Addictions is desirable
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent annual salary of £27,784.10 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week shifts will be rotational across days and nights. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
