Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN,RNLD)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a capable RGN, RMN or RNLD to work with one of the UK’s leading care provider. As a nurse you will be working in highly reputed within the Glasgow area.
The prestigious home boasts a dedicated multidisciplinary team who provide excellent care in a number of different specialised areas, including: Dementia, Nursing, Specialist Mental health, Respite care and Palliative/ End of Life.
As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
· Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life.
· Champion appropriate independence and personal choice.
· Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift.
· Build the positive reputation of the Business.
· Ensure all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge.
· Participate knowledgably and professionally to all inspection visits.
· Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines.
· Ensure you follow a rigorous monitoring and recording practice.
· Promote a cohesive team approach and a welcoming atmosphere.
· Understand the key targets of your host home and support the Home Manager.
· Support, guide, teach and mentor others in line with the NMC Code.
· Attend relevant meetings both internal and external.
· Act as a reflective and developmental practitioner participating to continual professional development and meeting the requirements of professional revalidation.
An ideal Nurse should be a hard working, confident individual and must have these skills and knowledge as they are beneficial for this role:
· The ability to lead a team, analyse problems and propose solutions or improvements
· Able to communicate effectively and to develop professional relationships
· Understands and effectively uses IT and communication systems required for the role
· Respectful of the values, views and needs of others
· Able to work under pressure and prioritize workload
· Experience of delivering nursing care within elderly health care sector
· People Management experience
· Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes
The successful Nurse will receive a fantastic salary of £15.76 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £36,878.40. This exciting position is for 45 hours a week on Nights. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
