Job Overview
Seeking a Business & Sales Co-Ordinator to join a growing sales team within a fast-paced working environment. This role will serve as a point of contact for both customers and suppliers and be a supporting and coordinating role to the Business Development Team along with the Sales Director. The qualities required for this role are reliability, to be hard-working, analytical with strong attention to detail & accuracy, an outstanding communicator and confidently able to manage own workload.
Responsibilities
• Answer incoming customer/supplier phone calls and/or emails.
• Processing of customer quotes/orders/supplier orders.
• Data Entry into Sage ERP / MS Excel / CRM.
• Monitoring and recording of inventory.
• Managing and coordinating the activities of the sales team.
• Creating and reviewing of sales and purchasing reports.
• Assist with general ad hoc duties to aid the smooth running of the department and business.
• Participate in Teams calls and Face to Face meetings when required.
• Communicate customer/supplier feedback throughout the team.
• Accurately record and store meeting notes.
• Liaise with in-house marketing team.
Skills required for this role:
• Sales & Purchasing Admin/Co-ordinator experience (OR relative transferrable skills for Service Leavers)
• Exceptional organisational skills.
• Customer service experience and good interpersonal skills.
• Sage 200 Experience (highly beneficial, but training can be provided)
• Financial/Accounts experience (highly beneficial, but can gain training)
• MS/Word/Excel/CRM experience.
• Ability to multi-task and overcome customer and supplier challenges.
