Technical Project Manager, SC (180lw) – Telecomms – Gloucester/Hybrid - £40,000-£60,000k (subject to experience)

They are recognised for innovative technology solutions, providing the network infrastructure and associated applications that optimise existing networks, as well as delivering digital transformation programs that provide a seamless transition from legacy to new technology.
Our client is looking for a highly motivated Technical Project Manager to join the existing Project and Engineering Team within a fast-paced environment. The person will form an important and integral part of an expanding business and at an exciting time within the company’s history. The job will preferably be based at the Gloucester office, but remote working can be integrated within the role.
Job function & responsibilities
Planning, designing, managing risks, executing & monitoring every aspect of a specific project(s)
Identify project requirements, delivery timelines & costs.
Develop detailed plans to guide clients, staff members & project teams and revise based on changing needs & requirements.
Identifying and assigning project tasks based on skill sets, experience & strengths of staff members.
Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery.
Compiling & submitting project reports to clients, managers & other relevant parties.
Making sure the projects are running to time & budget & create plans for resources needed.
Attend regular client meetings and document meeting notes.
Research and evaluate hardware and software technologies and/or subcontractor services and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making project/company decisions.
Hold regular technical/project team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.
Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all members of the team are working towards established milestones.
Establish and implement training processes and strategies for all technical and field personnel.
Experience
Project Management Certification.
CIDA Defence Installation Design Foundation Course Certification and extensive understanding of the ECR process.
A minimum of 5 years extensive project management experience within telecommunications sector.
Solid IT skills & knowledge of necessary software including MSWord, Excel and Teams
It would be desirable to have additional project qualifications, experience of system integrators within the defence sector & SC Clearance.
