Staff Nurse – Surgical Ward

Equivalent to band 5 Depending on experience

Outstanding new job opening for a Staff Nurse Surgical to work with one UK’s leading private hospital. As a staff nurse you will be working in one of our clients hospital based in Harpenden area.

We want our patients to feel safe and secure when they come to us for treatment, and it will be down to your ability to handle a complex and variable caseload that this standard is upheld. Assessing their health needs and carrying out duties as requested by the Sister, you will provide a clean environment and the full scope of support needed for their visit. This is an exciting opportunity in which to develop your own nursing and leadership skills, as you will also provide management as required.

Respecting the privacy of the patients when handling sensitive information, you will combine your fantastic communication skills with good clinical knowledge. As an experienced surgical ward nurse with current NMC registration, and ideally working towards a qualification in a clinical specialism, you will also have a good understanding of infection control and will appreciate the standards set by external bodies such as the Care Quality Commission. Boasting a solid combination of being both a team player and able to work independently, your caring disposition will be the reason we’ll worth together seamlessly.

To be considered for this you must be Registered nurse and have experience in surgical  settings.
