We are looking to recruit an Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team, providing high quality therapy services to service users at the hospital.  The successful candidate will join a well established, dedicated and fully integrated multi-disciplinary team undertaking occupational therapy sessions, groups, care planning and evaluation for a designated caseload.

The hospital based in Hassocks, West Sussex is part of large group; it has been established by one of the UK’s leading independent providers of mental health services. The hospital supports both male and female patients with varying needs in its Medium Secure, Low Secure, HDU and Acute Wards and was rated ‘Good’ by the CQC following their recent inspection.

 Candidates will have excellent group facilitation skills in addition to providing individual interventions as part of the hospital's therapeutic timetable. 

Dip COT, BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy together with HCPC registration is required together with previous experience of working with complex and challenging patients within a Mental Healthcare setting implementing a therapeutic approach. 

The successful candidate will be offered an excellent salary of £24,897.00  per annum plus other great benefits.

A flexible approach is essential together with good communication and organisational skills. This role will also be involved with the supervision of Occupational Therapy Assistants within the hospital.
