Night Nurse
A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Night Nurse to join an exceptional care home service located in Hereford. As a Night Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This special care home offers full-time convalescent, residential and palliative care to residents with a dementia related illness or to those who require general nursing care
As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
- To be responsible for the assessment of the needs, development of programmes of care and for the implementation and evaluation of these programmes, ensuring that care activities are research based.
- To contribute to the management of the nursing services within the Home – taking charge of the Home when required.
- To provide a high standard of clinical nursing within the Home.
- To participate and contribute to the teaching requirements of the Home.
- To participate in setting, maintaining and monitoring nursing standards.
An ideal Nurse must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
- Good nursing experience
- Able to write care plans
- Able to show empathy and warmth
- Recognise the legal implications of nursing documentation
- Enable residents to live a fuller life style within the nature of their capability
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the resident’s needs
- Demonstrate dissemination of information and reporting to Manager
- Dementia awareness

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN, RMN or RNLD
