3612 Night Co-ordinator
We are currently looking to recruit for a Night Co-ordinator to work with one of the UK's leading healthcare provider. As a Night Co-ordinator you will be working in 50 bedded hospital with 4 wards specialising in acute specialist mental health services. You will undertake and manage direct patient care, having participated fully in the assessment, planning and evaluation of care needs.
Our Night Site Coordinator role involves:
- Adhering at all times to the NMC code of professional conduct.
- Conducting a legal, ethical, and accountable practice and remaining open to the scrutiny of peers.
- Respecting the rights of others sensitively and with regard to issues of equality and diversity.
- Promoting and ensuring that each member of the team works to the standards of ethical practice.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, government and local policy and best practice including the Mental Health Act. Clinical Governance and Standards for Better Health.
- Ensuring adherence to health, safety and security legislation, and policy.
- Recognising the value of effective communication and the potential for developing therapeutic relationships, effective teamwork, interdisciplinary working, and customer care.
The successful candidate will be offered an excellent salary of £40,000-£43,000 per annum plus other benefits.
To be successful as a Night Site Coordinator, you’ll need:
- RMN / RNLD.
- Recognised Mentorship certification.
- NVQ Assessor Qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years post registered.
- Experience of working in a supervisory capacity.
- Experience of locked inpatient environment and interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Experience of assessing and teaching junior staff.
- Experience of coordinating care.
- Experience of prioritising key tasks in relation to sphere of work.
- Experience of management of Health & Safety and related issues.
- Experience of report writing.
- Committed to personal learning and development, evidence based practice, values based practice and patient centred care.
