Our Client is a multi-layered technology provider of communications within transport & construction sectors. Delivering mission critical radio communications and providing the management and support network for its customers.

Reporting to the Managed Services Team Leader the Asset & Logistics Administrator’s role is to ensure control and management of all assets and their movements and to deliver a pivotal quality assurance role in the reporting of all assets at all locations.
Main Purpose of the Role;
• To develop and maintain processes to control the accountability of radio and wireless assets kept locally (in store) and deployed
throughout the UK on customer and client service or network sites
• To provide accurate asset and inventory reporting and analysis
• To control stock and performance of regular stock audits
• To procure products for both Service and Projects and closely manage their throughput on all related systems
• To execute the goods in/ out process, including asset tracking and tracking of all radio and wireless assets from receipt of asset
to end of life
• To implement and maintain systems and data within guidelines set out by the Managed Services Team Leader
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain processes to control the accountability of radio and wireless assets kept locally (in store) and deployed
throughout the UK on customer and/ or client service or network sites
• Deliver accurate asset and inventory reporting and analysis to the leadership team, account managers and project managers
• Stock control including regular stock audits with locations at Heathrow and its satellite sites, Manchester and Somerset
• Performance of the goods in/ out process, including asset tagging and tracking of all radio and wireless assets from receipt of
asset to end of life
• To raise purchase orders, get appropriate signoff, place orders with vendors and manage the goods via Salesforce
Service Cloud
• Implement and maintain systems within guidelines set out by the Managed Services Team Leader
• Manage meticulously the assets in Salesforce Service Cloud
• Maintaining data integrity on all relevant business systems
• Ensuring stock levels are maintained to meet the demands of the business and financial targets
• Raise any issues on non-adherence /nonconformance to the relevant Manager and resolve.
• Ensure faulty stock is returned to the manufacturer or repair facility effectively and quickly turned around and returned to the
customer or stock ensuring accurate data updates at all stages.
• Manage the warranty cycle of assets
• Management of the client's logistics operation including management of logistics partners, management of all documentation,
records and system updates
• Cost control of all Logistics/Inventory activities in line with budget
• Monthly rolling and annual stock checks, auditing and reporting against financial and operational criteria
• Acting as a point of contact on asset inventory/procurement and Salesforce Service Cloud issues. Comply with all company
policies and procedures and input to the development and continuous improvement of those related to asset and logistics
management
Key Qualifications and Experience.
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role (warehouse / logistics/ inventory asset management)
• Good understanding of logistics in a customer service environment
• Experience in a similar asset management role such as IT/ Desktop, asset management an advantage
• Good understanding of warehousing practice and procedure
• Good working knowledge of purchasing and working closely with vendors
• Knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud will be a clear advantage
• Experience in using inventory/purchasing software, databases and/or systems
• Proficient in the use Excel
• Ability to work under pressure and remain focussed throughout periods of change
• Must be able to work cross functionally when managing change and/or resolving issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Able to follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Adopts a pro-active approach to resolving problems
• Experience in delivering a Goods In /Out process
