Dementia Lead
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Dementia Lead to work in an exceptional care home service based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This care home offers nursing care to those who have complex medical needs, and 24-hour nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions
As the Dementia Lead your key duties include:
· Providing leadership and support for support staff and act as a champion for residents’ safety and dignity
· Maintaining skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available
· Ensuring the ongoing safety of service users, residents, staff and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes
· Ensuring that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used
· Acting as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice

The successful Dementia Lead will receive an excellent salary of £19.00 per hour and the annual salary is £37,544 per annum.
