An amazing Job opportunity has just opened for a committed registered nurse to work with one of UK's Leading Healthcare Providers. We are looking for a passionate and caring individual with a proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team within a highly reputable service based in Leeds.
About the service
This newly refurbished homely and comfortable care home based in Leeds provides support for up to 75 older people with physical needs who require assistance and care. Our client provides a person-centred approach that can be tailored to the individual needs of our residents.
The home is designed to meet the needs of older people, providing comfortable lounge and dining areas throughout. There is a quiet room where residents can relax and listen to soothing music and the attractive enclosed gardens and roof garden provide residents with a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the outdoors.
As a nurse, your duties will include:
· To be on hand at all times
· To engage and encourage all residents to join in activities in order to mentally stimulate and physically motivate as well as to enhance their well being and quality of life.
· To work well within in a team
· To get know each resident individually and take pride
· To listen, understand and respond to all resident’s needs.
About you
In order to be applicable for the Registered Nurse’s role you will need to be a hard working and confident individual.
You must have the following skills and knowledge as they are beneficial for this role:
· RGN or RMN Qualified & NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) Registered
· Previous older peoples care experience is desirable but not essential
· Caring & compassionate with an excellent clinical track record
· Passionate about delivering outstanding care to older people
· Excellent organisation & leadership skills
· Effective communication skills
· Flexible, professional and committed to being the best
· Quality driven with a desire to continually improve yourself & our services
The Registered Nurse’s position is full time (We currently have vacancies for both days or night shifts available) and the successful nurse will receive an excellent salary of £17.00 per hour ( £38,896.00 PA ) plus generous benefits in return of all their hard work and commitment. Benefits include:
