Laboratory Technician

Ideal Recruit are looking for enthusiastic and reiable Laboratory Technicians in Leyland PR25.

It is a Temporary to Permanent position with a salary of £24,000.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am until 4pm.

No Experience required.

Job Purpose:

Conduct and supervise laboratory experiments using standard equipment to produce data that supports wider scientific investigations. Obtain and prepare samples for analysis. Maintain, monitor and clean the laboratory and its equipment to ensure strict safety requirements are met at all times.

Duties / Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the laboratory manager, your duties will include but not limited to: Prepare lab-scale production of in-house formulated products following the provided method Carry out stability and packaging compatibility testing programmes to ensure product quality throughout shelf-life Measure and record product attributes such as pH, viscosity, density and visual and olfactive characteristics Fill off batches for test / submission Order consumables Maintain and calibrate the laboratory equipment Ensure high levels of laboratory housekeeping and organisation of the raw material inventory Other general laboratory and administrative activities as required.
