We are looking for qualified RMN, RNLD and RGN staff nurse for a care home to achieve the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner through direct nursing care and effective supervision of staff members and to take management responsibility for a shift as directed.

The care home is a 30-bed residential care home offering care across four distinct wards, two providing specialist treatment and care to men and women with acquired brain injury; the other two for men and women with learning/intellectual disability, many with co-existing conditions such as sensory impairment or epilepsy, who require residential care.

The successful candidate for this role will be paid a competitive salary of Up to £33,000 per annum   plus other generous benefits and will be working a full time.

Staff Nurse Role involves:

• Ensuring that all staff members contribute, to the best of their ability, to the efficient running of the care centre and the creation of an atmosphere conducive to the best interests of the clients
• Acting for the Deputy Home Manager and/or the Home Manager in their absence if required
• Reporting any ill health amongst clients and making requests for GP/professional visits where necessary
• Ensuring that clients' Care Plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with clients, relatives and other healthcare professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines & company policy
• Assessing all aspects of clients' care needs, providing health supervision and direct nursing care when required
• Assessing social and health care needs of new clients, and maintaining ongoing assessment and review of all other clients
• Carrying out regular checks on clients at intervals determined by the Home Manager

Qualifications/Experience

To be successful as Staff Nurse, you’ll need:

• RMN, RNLD or RGN qualification and registration
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Genuine interest in working with the relevant client group

To be considered for this role you must be qualified Registered Nurse and must be registered with NMC
