Band 6 Clinical Pharmacist

**To be considered for this position you must hold a professional registration as a Pharmacist with General Pharmaceutical Council GPC**
As the Clinical Pharmacist your key responsibilities include:
• Visit allocated wards and review inpatient prescription charts, checking for clinical correctness according to current practice.
• Ordering non stock medicines for individual patients and ensuring continuity of supply
• Clinically screen and final check in-patient and discharge TTO prescriptions according to current practice
• Resolve any prescription queries with the prescriber and amend prescription accordingly
• Participate in dispensary dutie s (e.g. prescription processing) and ensuring appropriate records (e.g. controlled drug registers are maintained)
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Has provided medication counselling to patients
• Multidisciplinary working with Nursing and/or Medical colleagues
• Analysis and application of clinical data
• Completion of one year Pre-registration training
The successful Clinical Pharmacist will receive an excellent salary up to £45,847.55 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
