Nurse
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a committed RGN, RMN or RNLD to join an Exceptional Nursing Home within London. As a Nurse you will be working for a company which is rated highly and has an excellent reputation in the area.
The well established Care team offers nursing care for those who have complex medical needs, as well as 24-hour nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions. They also provide respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break.
As a Nurse your day to day duties include:
· To lead the care team to ensure high standards of care are provided to the service users.
· You will ensure that the residents’ medical, physical and emotional requirements are met.
· Mentoring and motivating colleagues to champion residents’ safety and dignity will be part of your role.
· As well as helping to maintain accurate records, you will also undertake ongoing training of the new staff.
· You will act as a person in charge, standing in for the Manager where required where your duties will be to: lead, motivate and mentor the care team to ensure the smooth running of the home;
· Distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisations, tube feeding and management of medical conditions
· Liaise with health and social care professionals for the improvement of the home and the care of the residents
· Promoting the service users independence, choice and dignity by delivering the best standard of care
An ideal Nurse must be very confident, hardworking individual and must have the following skills and experiences as they are beneficial for this role:
· Good Nursing Experience
· Excellent Clinical Skills
· Able to write Care Plans
· Able to show Empathy and warmth
· Able to carry out general nursing tasks such as Peg feeding, wound care, phlebotomy etc.
· Able to show a can-do attitude always
The successful Nurse for this role will be paid a competitive salary of £16.00 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £27,456. This exciting position is for 33 hours per week. In return for your hard work and dedication you will receive the following generous benefits:
