Senior Staff Nurse - Day Surgery
An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Senior Staff Nurse - Day Surgery to work in an exceptional independent private hospital next to Central London. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered General Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**
As a Nurse your key duties include:
• Maintain confidentiality surrounding patient admission and treatment at all times
• Ensure documentation is completed accurately and within agreed timescales using Hospital approved documentation, in line with NMC and Hospital guidelines
• Have knowledge of and adhere to ward and Hospital policy and professional standards. To ensure that team members do likewise
• To be a clinical expert within the speciality
• Ensure the provision of excellent, evidence based nursing care for patients
• Ensure that each patient is assessed, and that their care is planned, implemented and evaluated, and that this is accurately documented
• Ensure the provision of a welcoming, caring and safe environment for patients and their families
• Communicate complex and sensitive information effectively to patients, carers and other staff, overcoming any barriers to understanding and providing support during distressing or emotional events
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• 2 years post registration experience in one of the specialities of the ward
• Experience of shift management and leading a team
• Evidence of ongoing training and commitment to development
• Significant post registration skills
• Excellent clinical skills
• Excellent communicator
• Professional commitment and self-awareness
• Motivate self and others
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary up to £38,854 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
