Band 7 Pain Physiotherapist
An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Band 7 Pain Physiotherapist to work in an exceptional health centre based in the Luton, Bedfordshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
The service provides adults over 16 with advice and treatment for all musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions across the area. This service helps to treat a range of conditions, relating to muscles, joints, bones, tendons, ligaments and some nerve-related conditions
**To be considered for this position you must hold a Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC**
As the Physiotherapist your key duties include:
· You will be working alongside the clinical lead physiotherapist and a team of pain management physiotherapists
· To provide a highly specialised assessment and intervention for own varied caseload of outpatients within the speciality of Pain Management, including patients who may have highly complex presentations, with the aim of facilitating short and long-term self-management approaches to their condition
· To be involved in the development of the Pain Management Physiotherapy Service in consultation with the ESP and Team Lead Physiotherapist, striving to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness
· To supervise, teach and appraise senior, junior assistant and student physiotherapists as appropriate
· To supervise, initiate and participate in evidence based projects and lead in-service trainings
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Ability to work independently, and to pass on knowledge/skills to others within both formal and informal environments
· Excellent communication and team working skills
· Ability to use IT and clinical systems to a high standard
· Presentation Skills
· Motivational and leadership skills
· Specific pain management experience
The successful Physiotherapist will receive an excellent salary up to £45,839 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
