Occupational Therapist
A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Occupational Therapist to work with one of UK's leading health care providers. As a Occupational Therapist you will be working in an exceptional intermediate care rehabilitation service within the Luton area.
This special service is a community based service who provide assessments and rehabilitation to people aged 18 or over. The services aim is to enable patients to become as independent as possible after an illness or accident by supporting them after discharge from hospital or helping to keep them at home so they do not have to go into hospital.
As an Occupational Therapist your day to day duties include:
· You will be working closely with the Community, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Early Supported Discharge (ESD) and Inpatient Rehabilitation Services
· Provide specialist care and knowledge to patients, staff and affiliated partners
· Care for patients and their families in the way that you believe is best
· Delivering our high service standards
· Sharing best practice, and actively improving the work
An ideal Occupational Therapist must have these skills and experiences as they are beneficial for this position:
· You will be an experienced, motivated and a forward thinking qualified Occupational Therapist
· Strong communication
· Organisation skills
· Flexible approach will ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every Stage of their healthcare journey
· Able to show a can-do attitude always
· Neuro Experience
