Senior Risk Analyst (133dm) - Macclesfield - £400 LTD / UMB –Outside IR35

As a Senior Risk Analyst, you will report to the Global Business Process Owner for Risk in Global Operations, you will contribute to the realisation of the Risk Management Framework.

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.

You will ensure the continued timeliness and accuracy of quarterly reporting and analysis; and you will act as a liaison for the different business units in Global Operations, ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing across Global Operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone with good risk management knowledge/passion, excellent analytical skills and an ambition to take on a role that spans across the whole of Global Operations.
Contract duration- 12 months

Typical Accountabilities For Role
• Key to this role will be your ability to utilise the risk data to analyse themes and trends in data and provide insight back to the team. You should be willing to challenge the approach and input and be confident in working with partners across the business to ensure the integrity of the data.
• You will maintain the database for risks ensuring compliance and taking responsibility for the governance of the database.
• You will ensure all data are available on time and with respecting the standard in place to ensure successful quarterly risk reporting for senior leaders in Operations and in GSC&S.

Skills
Essential:
• Experience in risk management
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical capabilities and extensive experience in Microsoft Excel
• Very good experience using visualization techniques and tools such as Power BI
• Ability to utilise risk data to analyse themes and trends in data and provide insight back to the team
• Ability to handle ambiguity and change both effectively and pragmatically
• Ability to effectively present complex information to senior leaders in a concise manner, to drive business decisions

Desirable:
Knowledge of risk management standards such as ISO 31000, the COSO framework
Knowledge of database and data structure
