**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Physiotherapist and registered with HCPC**
As the Senior Outpatient Physiotherapist your key responsibilities include:
• To carry out assessments of patients as an autonomous practitioner, including those with complex presentations, using developed clinical reasoning gained through training and previous experience
• Formulate and deliver physical therapy treatment programmes based on clinical knowledge and evidence-based practice
• Maintain accurate written record standards and to monitor those of more junior Physical Therapists
• Contribute to the implementation of hospital policies and procedures in line with the CSP, CQC and other governing bodies
• Engage with other medical professionals both internally and externally, maintaining professional clinical relationships
• Be flexible to working patterns across weekdays and weekends, as the department operates across 7 days Inpatient and Outpatients
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Be absolutely patient focused with a desire to facilitate a collaborative culture within the department
• Have a minimum of 2 years post-registration clinical experience inclusive of management of orthopaedic patients
• Be energetic and achievement focused with a passion for therapy and the desire to develop
• Possess evidence of continuous professional development
The successful Senior Outpatient Physiotherapist will receive an excellent salary of £40,000 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours a week working through Days. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
