**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin or a qualified ODP with a HCPC registration**
As a Theatre Practitioner your key responsibilities include:
• Assess patient care requirements independently and act as a resource for other staff. Implement patient care and evaluate outcomes
• Undertake all safety checks to a high standard, documenting appropriately
• Work flexibly across Anaesthetics, scrub and recovery to suit the need of the department
• Ensure the highest standards of infection prevention and control are carried out
• Work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in order to facilitate cohesive teamwork
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Clinical experience as an anaesthetic, scrub or recovery theatre practitioner in an acute hospital (NHS or independent) for a minimum of two years
• Knowledge of clinical governance and its application
• Evidence of continuous professional development and its application
• Enthusiastic and passionate about patient care
The successful Theatre Practitioner will receive an excellent salary of £29,000 - £31,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
