Clinical Lead
A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed GP Clinical Lead to work in an exceptional care centre based in the Oldham, Greater Manchester area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers
This special health centre provide consultation, advice and treatment from consultants, specialist GPs and specialist nurses for a wide range of dermatological problems
**You must be registered with the GMC and hold a licence to practice and a clinical background working in Dermatology**
As the GP Clinical Lead your key responsibilities include:
· Maintains the highest clinical standards at all times and practices in accordance with accepted good medical practice and service standards.
· Promotes the health and well-being of all medical and clinical staff within the practice by promoting efficient working methods and behaviours.
· Keeps up to date with advances in medicine and practices in line with national and local guidance and support other medical and clinical staff to do the same
· Promotes the application of standards, protocols and codes of practice as set by Royal College of General Practitioners, General Medical Council, all other Royal Colleges and Councils applicable to the staff within the practice, Department of Health, Commissioning Bodies and all other regulatory and standard setting organizations
· Provide clinical advice and guidance to all practitioners caring for patients of the Practice.
· Demonstrates innovation in the development of practice strategy and policy.
· Ensure adequate and appropriate supervision and mentoring for salaried GPs working in the service
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Previous experience working as a Clinical Lead
· Strong people management & leadership skills along with a clinical background working in Dermatology
· Be able to demonstrate a high level of clinical experience and competence in the management of all aspects of Dermatological conditions
The successful GP Clinical Lead will receive an excellent salary of £132,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Part Time role. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
