Nights Senior Nurse for Care Home

An exciting position has opened for an experienced Senior Nurse to join a fantastic care home that is based in Salford.

The care home is around 70 bedded services that specialises in providing high quality nursing and dementia care. The service users are there for either long term or short respite stay. Their aim is to provide individual care plans to make sure the appropriate care is delivered to the users.

The successful nurse will receive a competitive salary of Up to £15.50 per hour with fantastic additional benefits.  

As a Senior Nurse your role involves:

• Working alongside the Home Manager to ensure that the home is well managed
• Contributing to the comprehensive assessment of a patient on admission
• Compiling a positive risk management plan
• Monitoring and reviewing individualised patient plans, within an evidence based framework
• Prioritising, organising, and deploying under direction, resources to meet the requirements of the ward for the duration of a shift

Skills/Knowledge

• Self-motivated
• Drive to take responsibility for personal learning and development
• Experience of working in a similar environment and role
• A focus on patient centred care
• Demonstrable experience of being a team player
• Strong leadership and management of people skills

To be considered for this role you must be a Qualified Nurse with experience in a similar setting.
